It's Jenae again. DeeDee is in Olney with Carson and Chance is at the hospital with Clay. Grandma is driving back to Dallas from Ingleside with Cody. She is going to relieve Chance. Clay was not discharged from the hospital today as we first thought. He has thrown up so much that an IV has been put in him. They put it in last night. Today the vomiting was not as often, but he still threw up until noon. Clay wanted to take a bath today so they took him to do that, but he was in lots of pain and didn't want to do much after that. He had an X-ray taken yesterday and it shows there is some distension in his intestinal/bowel area. They are trying several things to get the vomiting to stop and we will hope to know more by tomorrow. Thanks for riding this emotional rollercoaster with us. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.

Thinking of you all! We hope the vomiting stops and that he can get back on the track he was on...eating so good, getting stronger, and healing!
ReplyDeleteGood evening all:
ReplyDeleteWe too will keep all of you, but especially Clay in the forefront with prayers on his behalf to allow total healing inside and out. Poor kid, and poor family. This is so emotionally draining on all. Looking towards his getting better and better!

We hope the bumps start to smooth out real soon!

for a better day Tuesday.
Lots of Love and Hugs,

poor little guy! He has got to be exhausted and
ReplyDeleteso do you all. Hoping for better days ahead and we're praying and praying that the doctors can find the source of what's causing this!
Hang in there and get rest when you can....
Big Hugs from Austin Texas.
I am so sorry about these problems resurfacing and causing us to be so worried and sad. We are standing by always!

Rollercoaster is an understatement! Man you guys are real troopers! Clay should receive some kind of medal for bravery or something! It seems so trivial to say I will be praying but HE is the only one who really knows how to help our little fella! So, trivial or not, I will be sayin' it! I am feeling much better, wish he was! So, I am still on "night duty" not that I ever went off! Just know you are still on the forefront of my mind! Love, Missy
ReplyDeleteWe feel so bad for all your family, and so sorry Clay is having such a hard time. Poor little fella, how much can a little body stand? Seems like every time he is on the uphill climb and gaining, he then slides back in the valley. One of these days, he will get to the top and stay on top. Hope Joy has a safe trip. B&E
ReplyDeleteWe are still praying for Clay and you all. I can't even imagine being in your shoes...but I do know that you two have been such an inspiration to our whole family...among many many others. You all are on our hearts daily....I for one, can not wait to see Clay walking the halls at OES!!! He is one brave and tough little man who I believe God has great plans for!! I always tell my boys that when they ask why about Clay's situation, that God has great things in store for Clay Fite!! We love you all...as Tony has said on many occasions he feels like you all are a part of our family...and he has not even met you yet...but hopes to soon!!
ReplyDeleteLove In Christ,
Tony and Leigh Pollock and Kids
Thanks for the continued updates. We will keep praying.
ReplyDeleteA lot of times after you have been in the hospital on a bunch of meds, having surgeries, and not moving around as much as you used to, things like food don't really go through exactly like they used to. I have one Magic word which might help Clay "Miralax". The e.r. doctor at Cooks told us that he prescribed more of that than antibiotics. It won't hurt kids to take and it dissolves to where you can't see it or taste it. You might ask the doctors about it. If he takes something like that, even with all the other stuff that he has to take, everything should move the right way hopefully. Miralax and Nexium might combat all the abuse his poor little gastrointestinal tract is having to endure. At least with those two meds, probably if he has a problem, it won't be vomiting. He will feel so much better when they get rid of all the distention and he can eat again. We are saying extra prayers for him. I want him to feel great when he has to go home. God Bless
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts and prayers are with you continually! Hugs all around!

Thinking of you so much today and hoping Clay's tummy is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts have been there all day today...more than usual. We really hope that Clay feels better, and that all of you can get some kind of rest. More hugs and thoughts and prayers.....
